Salmon breakfast bagels


Salmon breakfast bagels

Creamy scrambled eggs with smoked salmon slivers served on a toasted bagel. Perfect for a lazy Sunday morning brunch. Adapted from a Nestlé Japan recipe.

Ingredients

100 g Cream cheese
6 Eggs
100 g Salmon, smoked (cut into strips)
150 ml CARNATION Evaporated milk
Freshly ground black pepper
4 Bagels, plain
1 tbsp Chives, fresh (chopped)
4 leaves Lettuce (washed and dried)

Preparation steps


Cut the bagels in half, toast and then spread the lower half with cream cheese.

Beat together the eggs and CARNATION Evaporated milk. Season with freshly ground pepper

Place the egg mixture in a non-stick saucepan and cook over a low heat for about 10 minutes or

until the eggs are cooked. Stir all the time to make the eggs scramble.

Remove from the heat and add the smoked salmon pieces and chopped chives. Stir well to mix.

Place a lettuce leaf on each bagel base. Pile the egg and salmon mixture on top of each bagel and then top with upper part of the bagel. Serve immediately.
