Serving number 4

Ingredients

4 Bananas
4 sprigs Mint, fresh
50 g Butter, unsalted
50 g Sugar
2 tbsps Rum, brown
4 scoops NESTLÉ Chocolate Ice cream
4 squares of aluminium foil (25 x 25 cm)

Preparation steps

Pre-heat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Peel the bananas, make a slit along the length of the bananas and insert three or four mint leaves into each slit. Use the tip of a knife to push the leaves fully inside.

Beat together the butter, sugar and rum until it is creamy. Spread the butter mixture over the bananas. Place each banana in the center of a foil square, fold the foil over the banana and seal the edges to make a package.

Bake in the pre-heated oven for 20-25 minutes.

Carefully remove the bananas from the foil trying to keep them in once piece. Place the bananas on the serving plates and drizzle with the cooking juices. Serve with a scoop of chocolate ice cream and garnished with fresh mint leaves.
